About The Quest For Glory Club

The QFGC is a free-form play-by-post on-line role-playing game based in an original fantasy world. As an organization of players, the QGFC has been around for more then ten years, dating back to prodigy message boards when the series it was based on, Quest For Glory by Sierra, was still young. Over the course of our lifetime, we've moved through many web sites, many cities, many versions, and many characters. But in this latest update, we're moving on to something new. Our own, completely original world, that pays homage to the series, humor, and style of the games that we've all grown up loving.

It is free to play here, and you will never be asked for any sort of personal information. We play by making characters, and posting in a story form with other players. To draw a modern example, we're along the lines of a text based MMORPG. The difference being that we're much slower paced. You can post at any time, with people form around the world. This makes things much more relaxed, and you don't need to dedicate as much time to it as you would an MMO. You can post from anywhere, home, school, work, and only as much as you want. Another advantage to the QFGC is that you have the ultimate freedom; freedom that is only limited by the written word.

In the QFGC you will discover a world of humor, exploration, and adventure. In our world, you will chose from one of four unique cities, each with its own history, culture, and style of combats and magic. From there, the world is your playground. Players themselves will create quests, plot lines, and scenarios, as well as our very own Storyteller, a position granted to certain players who are given the opportunity to effect change on the entire world!
